The cargo delivery UAV system is mainly composed of UAV subsystem, delivery subsystem, ground command
subsystem, comprehensive support subsystem, etc.
In the scenario where the target point does not have takeoff and landing conditions or ground
vehicles and ships cannot reach directly, the system has the characteristics of not relying on
airports, fast deployment, large payload capacity, long distance, accurate delivery, and can realize
the rapid and accurate delivery of cargo under various terrain restrictions such as high plateaus,
mountainous area, islands and reefs, ships, etc. It can be widely used in normalized transportation
in harsh environments, point-to-point rapid logistics, and emergency scenario transportation.
There are challenges such as rarefied air, strong shear winds, sand and dust, and complex
terrain in high
altitude environments. Based on the cargo delivery requirements and the environment in the
plateau area, the FWH-1500 plateaus heavy-lift unmanned helicopter has been developed, and
the flight verification of cargo delivery with a payload of 300kg has been completed at an
altitude of 5300m.This meets the needs of normalized transportation in herdsmen's
settlements, infrastructure construction sites etc. high-altitude areas.
There are problems such as long distance, low frequency of ship transportation, slow speed,
and great influence of sea conditions in the cross-island transportation, while the number of
manned helicopters is limited, and the cost is high. Based on the requirements for logistics
replenishment in the remote islands with few residents, Flightwin made adaptability
improvement for the FWH-1500 heavy-lift unmanned helicopter, and full-composite airframe,
multi-redundancy navigation flight control system, dual-station relay control, and slow
descent hoisting system are used to realize the normalized cargo delivery between
long-distance islands.
At present, China’s traditional logistics system tends to be sophisticated, and the logistics
efficiency is at the world's leading level. However, there is still a lack of effective means
of point-to-point cargo delivery in the scenario of inconvenient ground transportation area,
high timeliness requirements, large weight, low frequency, valuable goods and long distance.
Based on the FWH-1500 and FWH-3000 unmanned helicopter platforms and the FWA-150 VTOL
UAV platform, according to the type of cargo and delivery requirements, Flightwin-Innovation
can realize the rapid delivery of cargo through hoisting, fixed mounting, in-cabin delivery,
etc., with the mode of sling & rappel, UAV landing and airdropping.
In view of the situation where ground transportation is blocked due to natural disasters and major accidents, and the trapped people urgently need medicines, food, and rescue equipment etc., the traditional manpower and manned aircraft transportation methods have difficulties such as slow speed, high risk, and high cost. Flightwin-Innovation used multi-type unmanned helicopters and VTOL UAV platforms to have developed an emergency scenario transportation system and greatly improved the efficiency and accuracy of cargo delivery: ensure the rapid deployment of cargo delivery UAVs within 15 minutes at the disaster site; ensure the cargo delivery speed of more than 100km/h, and the delivery accuracy of less than 2m.
